The hypocrisy is just the worst part.

I get the humor of the comic, but I generally think it’s a bad idea to compare two people in order to make a judgement, or even two groups of people. If you actually look at the groups, you’ll almost always find that each community has its strengths and weaknesses. They can actually learn from each other.
I was watching a video of a lady who escaped from North Korea. There was a real food shortage, and people were barely surviving. But she also said that she missed the feeling of community that she felt in her home town. That there was a certain kind of happiness that she felt living in a poor community struggling to get by that she couldn’t replicate.
That was necessary because for that toilet if you were misaligned, things could go very wrong. I don’t know if the newer toilets require the same training.
Astronauts have one of the weirdest jobs. How many prestigious jobs require you to watch a video of your own asshole?
Somebody should make a FOIA request for them.
Vertical ranching
And tar pits are just alien latrines.
This would be a controversial comic if it were released today, due to all of the controversy around the idea of vicious breeds.
Edit: Well, I tried to word my comment so that it would be about the comic and wouldn’t elicit this sort of discussion, but I guess I failed.
There’s actually quite a lot that’s blatantly out in the open right now. Here’s Trump virtually saying outright that he trades government positions for political support.
That’s just what the public knows. There’s surely a lot more sinister quid pro quo behind the scenes.
You have forgotten about the currency that Trump usually deals in, something called “quid pro quo.”
Sounds like somebody’s got a case of the Mondays.
Also, don’t forget that Israel spends a lot of money to influence US elections. Until we have genuine campaign finance reform that disallows this, we’ll have to deal with politicians who treat Israel better than it otherwise needs to be treated.
Trump, a main draw for Truth Social users and many retail investors in the company, said earlier in September that he will not sell his stake. The stock price briefly shot up after his remarks.
Other early investors have made no such promises. They include ARC Global, a sponsor of the blank-check firm that took Trump Media public, and United Atlantic Ventures, an entity controlled by two former contestants on Trump’s reality show “The Apprentice.”
I believe it’s not only that these investors made no promises not to sell, but that several of them specifically expressed that they would be selling as soon as they were legally allowed to do so.
It’s hard to accurately value Truth Social. But I think if Trump were to leave the platform, its value would go to zero, and that makes it very risky. I just saw a price of 12.74. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s still quite overvalued, and so it makes sense for those investors to try to sell at this price.
One idea is to look at what kinds of weeds want to grow there, and plant desirable plants that look similar to the weeds.
The problem is that if these people are voting for Jill Stein, then they are not actually voting for who they wish. Jill Stein is not the person who they think she is.
If she were to magically win the election, they’d by-and-large be extraordinarily disappointed in the result.
This is why misinformation and disinformation is so destructive in a democracy. The voters need to be properly informed.
Isn’t that the point in the interview, after Jason Miller says that the Harris campaign did something 100x worse, when you tell Miller that since he knows something that much worse, he should give an actual example?
“What, the curtains?”
It is Germany, yes, but it’s not “not Tesla.”
Many companies manage to make money without destroying significant numbers of trees.
Just because something unethical is legal doesn’t mean that the person doing that thing escapes all criticism.
Denying science isn’t really something that deserves to be called a “view”.
Biden would have a huge hill to climb here. Netanyahu has a lot of incentive to wait until after our election to take this sort of action. And meanwhile, he can choose between giving Biden a huge win or embarrassing Biden, again.
But I have repeatedly seen Biden succeed when faced with difficult diplomatic problems. So I have to admit that personally, this does get my hopes up a little.
I also basically never get bored. If I am put into a situation that other people would find boring, I tend to get lost in my thoughts or daydream.
If that’s not an option, I often find that I don’t get bored even just doing simple tasks that others would find boring.
The only time I ever generally feel bored is if I am somehow required to do a truly mind numbing task, like wait for something to happen, and I am forcing myself to pay attention.
