I did read about this yesterday, and as far as I know the name of the sat is intelsat 33e and its for communication purposes. I’m curious to know what really happen, how it broke.

I started with their email services many years ago, and today I user their email + free calendar. To be true, they went too much far with all these apps, but as long as it works for them thats fine.

They are not disappearing, I still use forums like discogs, XDA, satellite forums, local forums country or city etc. You just have to search and find.

Its for quite a long time now. I graduated as an international student and couldn’t find a job. Same thing with some other students from my college.

Mainly not enough time, but also expensive games.

I use to have PlayStation and Wii, but once I started with with music collection cd and vinyl, I lost interest in games. Games cost $$, and if you want to buy more than one game, you have to pay $$$. I would pirate games, but I prefer to buy them so I can support the developers.

You just don’t buy any dish, you have think what you want to watch/receive, then pick the right size dish, and then you have to pick a receiver. Not me, but many users have more than two boxes for many reasons.

Once you have these, then you have to choose if you gonna have a motorized dish or stable with more than 1 LNB’s. Motorized dish is good because you only need 2-3 cables, but there is a delay when you switch satellite, seconds or minute until it turns to the right position. While stable has more job and cables to have, while switching satellites/channel is instant. wave frontier is considered the best dish, as it can see/get lots of sats with its size the way it is(needs a lot of lnbs and cable!).

Some people switch receivers every time a new one is out(not many the last years).
FTA is good, but people still trying to crack scrambled channels.
