Soviet Strike was really good. One of the first PlayStation games I played (rented from Blockbuster!)
I remember being blown away by the video cutscenes in a game.
It STARTED from the work of community members. Then Epic jumped in and took over with the promise of their backing of the community team. Then once they had control over it they scuttled the ship.
So maybe stop overfishing the oceans??
What? Pat’s has a guy grilling peppers right on the patio.
Apple won’t do shit to help. We have a bunch that are locked with iCloud accounts tied to former employees company emails which we have full control over…but when you try to reset the password they try to send a text to the phone that set them up (which we have no access to). We tried to get help from Apple and they won’t unlock any device that we don’t have proof of purchasing directly from Apple, and since they were bought at random retailers they just tell us to buy more new iPads.
QR codes on cards really bridge the gap between the physical card and the digital presence.
Check out OUTDOORS55’s YouTube channel.
They’ve dumped $2billion of that back into developing this game. That’s 4x as much as they spent on RDR2 and about 5x as what they spent on GTAV.
So as far as “I’m not sure they even bothered” goes, well it seems they bothered quit a bit more than they did on those other games which were both epic.
We’re at a point where a company makes an operating system used by a majority of the population while they force you to use your personal online account to log in
I find it hilarious to see how many people rage at this from their iPhone or Android phone where they are logged in with a personal online account in order for the device to function.
You need a Microsoft account to play Minecraft anyway, so you still would have had set one up.
…it won’t let me edit my other comment but I wanted to add that YES using MFA is demonstratively far more safe than any password you can set.
With a multi factor enabled you could literally give your password out and people could not access your account without being able to complete that second layer of security.
During the enrollment you can tap on the option to use another method and have it send you a text code instead of using the app.
coworkers can be rude and nosey AF. I’ve had some like that, too. But lying about your age is not the way to handle it.
I agree. It would be much better to lie about their questions about being single with no kids…
“My family died in a horrible accident while I watched helplessly. I work this shit job so I don’t have to sit at home thinking about it.”
That’s guaranteed to shut them the fuck up and keep them from asking any more nosy questions.
Who wants to take bets that Search itself ends up in The Graveyard soon, leaving nothing but the new AI abomination in place?
That wasn’t the question.
I saw this exact same “reporting” on the Verge and several other sites yesterday and earlier in the week, and without the paywall 404 has half way down reading the article.
Ever try Media Monkey?
They said New York, not the US. New York is it’s whole own little world. And it’s pretty raw.
Nope. NY’s laws prohibit having a gun anywhere outside of your home.
To make it even more ridiculous… this includes the pellet gun this kid had. In NY having a air gun is a felony weapons charge. (sections 265.01, 265.20, 265.01-a)
