The 2003 one is very well done. I am a little older and grew up enjoying “Hook” with Robin Williams, which also has a 6.8 imdb rating.

I do not judge what I like based on what others like. Hook is a close second for me.
Keep in mind I glossed over the really terrible parts of the book. I’m glad almost none of the modern adaptations go into that.

This one had the best trailer by far but I thought the movie was underwhelming. I remember being bored watching it in theaters along with the rest of my family. But I love Hook.
Valid. I had the soundtrack to Hook well before that movie released.
I actually remember seeing this in the theater in college, but not much else about it. Guess it’s due for a rewatch.
I will encourage you to view it again with a sense of childlike wonder.
