Corendon Airlines is testing the “Only Adult” zones on flights between Amsterdam and Curaçao starting in November.
This area will be located at the front of the Airbus A350-900 aircraft and consists of nine XL seats with additional legroom and 93 standard seats.
There will be walls and curtains separating the “Only Adult” zone from the rest of the plane, making it ideal for travelers without children and business travelers who “want to work in a quiet environment,” according to a press release.
Fucking finally!

As if the flimsy curtain is going to do anything, haha. You could technically have a baby as close as the row behind that. And you can already hear babies crying from across the plane anyways, especially as we trend towards smaller, more efficient planes like the 737 max and extended range 320s.
This isn’t on smaller single aisle planes though, they’re doing this on an Airbus A350. On these planes there’s a galley between the front seated section and the rest of the plane, with another section before coach. So there’s a bit more than just a curtain.
They should just turn the back of the plane into a ball pit and chuck all the kids back there before takeoff. The larger ones can take care of the babies.
The larger ones… you mean us adults who would not be able to resist a frolic in a ball pit?
Make this the new mile high club!
I dunno, nine “XL” seats separated by a curtain sounds more like orgy class than noise-free zone
That’s the adults only zone, similar.
hope more will follow. no children on planes should be the normal state. unless you move or visit a dying loved one, there is no reason to bring a kid on a vehicle you share with other ppl…you are just selfish and rouining everyones day.
Someone watched too much home alone as a kid.
That may be one reason, bot also travelling on a weekly basis. You may think your kid is special, but at best its mediocre, most likely it is the worst and y’all are giving every one a hard time.
Still, great comment
