At least two strikes came from above head. You can see that on the top left of his head. You couldn’t strike like that doing a jab.
I don’t even know why they booked this man he’s obviously concussed and disfigured.
They want to use it as evidence to show he fought back and the cops had to use force to make an arrest.
I was a cop. I know the drill. The photo is to show the force needed to make an arrest.

An example is you untuck your shirt, undue a few bottoms and slouch.

You’d use that in court to show how serious the fight was.
Assaulting a police officer has two standard. It’s a higher punishment if you need medical care.
So dudes would call an ambulance to get a band aid put on to qualify for the greater chargers. They received medical care.
