I think if people really understood how useless social media was and how detrimental it is to society, they just stop using it. But then at the same time, the kids are learning about the American Empire and all of its atrocities through social media. So it’s like, I don’t want it to be banned because I want them to get radical. It’s like a transitionary state. And you know, you can’t be an absoluteist, but it’s all garbage in the end. I’ve had friends. I got people that would consider me friendly. I’ve gotten laid numerous times. I’m not insecure. Well, I mean everybody’s a little but I feel like I’ve gone through all the twists and turns to just really see things for what they are. And I could take it or leave it. If people could just see that they’re drinking from a poisonous well. If we all got together… and gave it some kinetic input it would only cost us sweat equity and this funny money don’t mean shit. This was already the case under Biden (since 2019 at least), and many other countries do the same. Asking for social media usernames when applying for a visa was already a normalized part of the process, so to me this is basically a nothingburger.
