Nothing, but only if they’re quite serious about demolishing IP law. If we’re going to do this, let’s not half ass it for a couple of spoiled rich kids, let’s go all or nothing.

Nothing? So the creator should spend insane amounts to make a song or movie or a ton of time to create a new painting but they shouldn’t be paid?

Not if we’re just giving it away to the richest people on earth to feed into a plagiarism generator, no. There’s either IP law for everyone, and EVERYONE gets DMCA, or there’s IP law for nobody. Nobody is above the law, including AI execs.

Everyone should take note conditional soup has yet to give a solid answer as to how the artist actually gets paid. So here’s a good question for everybody who’s reading this if an artist doesn’t get paid why would they continue?. And by artist, I mean, painter, singer, actor, songwriter, etc.

              I’m moving onto another conversation

                >99% of art does not make any money though. You don’t need to pay people to create art. You only need to pay them to create art faster. That’s how nearly all artists make money today: Comissions. Copyright only really benefits the most popular 0.1% of artists.
