I’m a simple man.
Toast (wholemeal). Baked Beans (Sainsbury’s own brand). Egg (fried). Brown Sauce.
Cup of tea on the side.
Lovely.
Stupidly, I signed up for a 10k for today. So, I’ve gone with a black coffee and a jammy dodger.
Apparently all the athletes do it.
edit: great success, better than roids
Left over slice of cake and popcorn. I really couldn’t be bothered this morning.
Sounds alright by me.
American pancakes on Sundays. :)

Made sourdough waffles. Forgot the sugar in the batter, but still delicious.

Eggs, bacon, hash browns, and toast with jam. I’ve been out of eggs for a while, so decided to celebrate finally making it to the shops with a small feast!
Left over lancashire hotpot
Daughter and partner staying for weekend so went to Rainbow Breakfast Bar (am in Ware), always good food in there and settled for brunch of Mediterranean omelette, chips, salad and Earl Grey.
Usually it’d be seeded/wholemeal toast, Marmite and lots of tea.
Warburtons Potato Cakes, toasted, with butter and melted cheese.
Cup of tea
Lean yoghurt with oatmeal, rasins, grains and nuts.
Going to attempt to make tea & toast presently, but feels like an exhausting prospect.
I’m off work next week.
Going to be 2 slices of grilled bacon, in a sandwich with 2 pieces of buttered wholemeal toast and brown sauce with a huge cup of filter coffee.
Brown toast, vegan butter, marmite
Muesli. Milk. Bowl. Spoon.
My eyes aren’t open yet so anything more complicated is too much of a mental challenge.
Somehow missed this.
I make overnight oats in a Mason jar:
- Jumbo British oats
- Oat milk
- Ground linseeds
- Chia seeds
- Sesame seeds
- Pumpkin seeds
- Ceylon cinnamon
- Frozen summer fruits (red/blackcurrants and rasp/blackberries)
- Hydrolysed bovine collagen
Then, in the morning, put two scoops of zero fat Greek yoghurt and a banana sliced up on top.
That’ll usually last me until teatime with just a falafel or two and a handful of walnuts to tide me over.
