Voronezh - strike on CHP-1 After the night attack, footage appeared showing the aftermath of the strike on the new power unit of the Voronezh CHP-1.
💥 According to our information, at 4:25 three missiles hit the CHP:
⊹ one - on the outer side of boiler house No. 1 (in the photo)
⊹ the second - pierced the roof and destroyed the building’s foundation
⊹ the third likely hit the heat generation building with turbines (requires clarification after analysis of operational data and satellite images).
According to available data, two of the missiles hit the building with boilers, where waste-heat boilers, steam generators, heat exchangers, and steam turbines are located. These work in conjunction with LM6000 PD Sprint gas turbine modules, which produce primary electricity.
The power unit is new - construction was completed in 2019, after which it became one of the most modern in the region.
Also, from the photo of the aftermath, it is visible that one of the missiles pierced the roof and hit the central part of the boiler house, where the main thermal equipment is located. After the strike, a decrease in load and disruptions in the city’s energy and heat networks were recorded.
