    I really hope Iran can achieve meaningful refine change, but I worry the US just killed all inertia and progress towards that.

      The US isn’t looking for a regime that’s better for the Iranian people, they’re looking for another dictator that kowtows to trump. Someone who is a yes man. The Israeli war in Iran has the goal of killing progress.

        Yeah that’s why I don’t think this is going to happen.

        If IRGC picks someone they’ll be a continuation of the old regime.

        If the US picks someone they’ll be a sycophantic extremist.

        If the Iranian people pick someone theyn the IRGC will say they’re a US puppet, and the US will say they’re an IRGC puppet and try to assassinate them.
