You can see in the photo that it is to fuck russia up.
I love the mission statement on their website

A tour of one of the company’s production sites was conducted by journalist and author of the Pressing project Serhiy Peichev. He stated that the production of Ukrainian missiles is not concentrated in one place; the “Flamingo” is created at dozens of separate sites, each manufacturing individual units and components. This principle allows for ensuring production continuity even if a specific location is hit.
This is great to hear. I’m sure it increases overall costs a lot, but decentralizing protects them from the same kind of damage they’re doing to Russia.
We produce as much as we are ordered. You were at the production facility, you saw it today. We can produce as much as needed. There is a certain bottleneck… we underestimated the complexity of European and American bureaucracy regarding engine exports. But we are gradually resolving this now. Several hundred “Flamingos” per month are possible if engines are available. This is a very simple missile.
I wonder if they’re working on making engines in house / in Ukraine

I’ve cut you some footage from the production of Fire Point, including the FP-5 “Flamingo” and the drones of the FP line.
…
A special thanks to the subscriber Shredder, who noticed one of the key moments of the plot - the change in the shape of the engine’s connection to the fuselage of the “Flamingo” rocket (it became more streamlined). In addition, the engine gondola itself visually became smaller, and the nozzle also changed, which may indicate that they started using a different engine [previously, they used Soviet/Ukrainian AI-25 or AI-25TL engines].
☝️ Back in March of this year, Stillerman said that Fire Point had developed its own two-stage turbojet engine with a low bypass ratio for the FP-5. Its main feature is that it is optimized specifically for low-altitude flights
As we can see, the latest flights of the “Flamingo” are indeed taking place at very low altitudes.
Awesome, great to hear they’re working on their own engines!
