People close to me say the n-word as a racial slur, and this has been happening often recently. It’s been directed toward me also. I don’t support this use of the n-word; I completely avoid saying myself.

I would hope that most people avoid using any racial slurs…
I try, but sometimes I have to say one when I am telling someone what I’d like to snack on. Or if I discover a weakness in something’s armor.
“I’ll take some crackers.”
“We did it, boys. We found the chink in their armor!”
