What’s everyone eating today?
some beef curry with vegies and baked potato
I’m going for salad too. Tuna and egg and all the veges. Yoghurt/cream cheese/mustard dressing. Found out I’m pre-diabetic 🥹 recently so working on low(ish) carbs. I already did good vege mix but the pasta and -ahem- chocolate and -ahem- cider needs to go.

I am working on low carb too! Im probably pre-diabetic also. Yikes. We can do this together, friend. Here’s my salad.

❤️❤️
Great (friends) Birthday lunch at the Greek place near ours:
House made pita, bread, spreads. Giant Greek salad, dolmas, calamari, moussaka, shredded lamb (kebab).
First time I’ve ever had (or heard of) pine wine: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Retsina
Although the person who ordered it for the table lamented how little the pine came through on the wine-apparently its supposed to be a very strong flavor to counter the garlic-lemon and olive flavors of the Greek food. I’m going to keep pressing him about it until he imports a bottle for us to try (then make a Greek dinner for us to break it open!)
I just seasoned some chicken pieces with garlic and herbs and threw it in the oven until it’s golden and crispy skinned. I was too tired for anything more inspiring than that.
Edit: your lucky wishes worked CEO, the roast beef I did yesterday came out lovely! Will definitely do again.
Yum yum yum 😋
Last of the eggplant curry and rice for lunch. Tonight, it’ll be whatever the +1 cooks, which I think is something like one-pot macaroni lasagna.
You?
I love eggplant.
I am having a salad with a can of salmon. Nice and easy.
Yum! I had the same the other day. Can’t go wrong.
quiche lorraine ( but made with almond milk )
