I mostly agree with you, but protections aren’t the same thing as rights. Protections are a one way street, rights are a two way street.

If they’re as smart, communicatable and capable of social responsibilities, then yes. There are some species that may be “differently” smart as humans, but lack a common lanuage and can’t take on shared social responsibilities, so giving them rights is difficult to say the least.
None and I installed an emoji blocked on firefox.
Give up. You could post an article by a Pulitzer Prize Winner and it wouldn’t be good enough. Hell, I posted an English translation of a Chinese article about the arrest of a Chinese LGBT author and it wasn’t good enough.
So you’re rationalizing why it’s just to bomb civilians by complaining about how injust it us when civilians are bombed? You’re an incoherent mess.
You don’t have a learning disability and you don’t belong in the special classes. Don’t trust anyone that says it will be fixed the next year and go to a different high school when they say the classes you want are filled.
Maybe after they get bombed
Explain.
Maybe they should have tried not sounding like an incoherent mess then. They’re calling for even more indiscriminate violence.
This is the most likely reason. Companies love reframing their earned hate as bigotry. Alt right goes along with it because it gives them validation.
Right, they’ve been terrible for years. Buying up companies, firing the old guard and pumping out shove ware versions of the games. On the consumer side, broken games, no polish, annual release games that are just reskins of the previous one, DLC/micro transactions, shutting down servers while there’s still a strong playerbase.
If I saw a poll for worst game company in 2013, it would have been an easy pick from me. Nowadays, it would be harder, but only because the other AAA studios have all gotten shittier since then.
Define “culture war bullshit”. Is it having minorities in Hollywood movies or is it complaining about The War On Christmas? Because if “The War On Christmas” is culture war bullshit, I do agree.
That being said, regardless of what you think “culture war bullshit” is, it’s very easier to disengage from it. Less effort then it takes to complain about it even.
Cancelling Storm Front was mistake. It was containment for these people.
You’re not silent and you’re not a majority.
It’s like once “their guy” gave them the ok, everyone started licking doorknobs again. Why couldn’t we keep this “social distancing” thing going? I liked my personal space.
Even if 99 percent of Ayn Rand followers are fuckheads, Jimmy Wales’s actions separate him of them.
There’s even more telemetry and built in ads with Win11 over Win10. If they’re so similar otherwise, why would anyone upgrade to Win11?
The other day, I dug out an old scanner to use. No mac drivers ever and no Win10 drivers. Worked on my Mint laptop with no drivers to install.
And in hindsight, not such a great person. Or at least had a lot of negatives to go along with his positives. Probably best to hard code not only a term limit, but an age limit on elected officials. I’m tired of the world being run by geriatrics. Culture seems to be consistently 20 year ahead of government.
Neither does censoring criticism of the government and proxy depictions of it.
