Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What is a not work or politics related positive thing reasonable American conservative men can do to build comradie and respect from peers and community?
6·1 day agoGetting involved with the non-profit near you, giving time to homeless, etc.
Even giving time to your (small) local church will help.
Ok the sauce was improvising.
Take a can of peeled whole tomatoes, I take san marzano tomatoes
Squash them with your hands.
Cook some chop onions (1/2 is enough) maybe 2-3 minutes so the onion don’t burn, add 3 garlic cloves and 1/2 tablespoons of crushed red pepper (less if you want something less hot). Cook a 2min at mid-low heat
Add the tomatoes, add some basil leaf (I used 4 or 5). Let simmer at low for 15 to 20 min (even less). Taste and adjust.
Blend everything to the preferred consistency

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Is it ethical to use mild shock collars on autistic children because many health and educational institutions do that too?
31·5 days agoI’ll say no. But I’m no specialist and there’s a range of possibilities, low shock is not to create mild discomfort seems plausible.
As far as I know there’s no such thing in Canada
