I made a grilled veggie board with summer squash, bell peppers, baby bok choy, tomatoes, and haloumi for r/52weeksofcooking boards theme week and it was delightful.
I’m trying out the beyond meat brats tonight with potatoes, onions, and peppers. Hopefully I’ll find some time to make bread this weekend.
The author describing preparing meals as a “Sisphyian task” is all you really need to know. If you don’t like cooking no amount of new (or old!) gadgets is going to make it better. I also use my slow cooker all the time.
They are really quite good. I like Nuggs too. I figure if we’re going to eat junk food it may as well not come from factory farmed chickens.
I switched to Yellowbird sriracha, it’s a little sweeter but otherwise fine. No desire to go back to huy fong after hearing about what they did to their suppliers.
