Leaving it on makes the US seem less of an asshole to ignorant folks by spreading lies and false narratives abroad. Turning it off makes the US a better country by not being assholes that spread misinformation abroad.

How would that be shooting yourself in the foot then?
Leaving it on makes the US seem less of an asshole to ignorant folks by spreading lies and false narratives abroad.
Turning it off makes the US a better country by not being assholes that spread misinformation abroad.
I’m not saying Voice of America is a good thing. I am saying, if you’re a corporation loving far-right politician, Voice of America is a great thing and you certainly don’t shut it down.
