It has been just over a year since our 14 year old dog broke her leg. After orthopedic surgery, and months of healing she is finally getting back to normal… but she is showing her age on our morning hike.

The others are all doing well.

Some are more silly than others.

Mini Yorki, 14 years old. A cat ripped his right eye out 3 years ago and now his other eye (the only one he has left) is turning grey.

Doctor says nothing can be done. He isn’t moving anymore, in the house he is walking against everything but now slowly has his path from water to food to sofa without walking against doors.

I let him walk as much as possible during our walk but gotta carry him more now

For most part their week was the usual: Kika being grumpy, needy, and “gluing” onto me while avoiding almost everybody else. Siegfrieda greeting every guest, rolling herself into a sushi with any mat around her.

New Year’s Eve was a bit problematic because fireworks, including ones that were banned from my city (the ones with loud explosions). Frieda got really afraid of them, and Kika extra grumpy. But past that, no issues.

He’s been frustrating. Ten year old intact male Tibetan Terrier. The weather turned freezing around Christmas and all the bitches on heat in the area have him running around crazy. The cold preserves their smells, so he is doing this for longer than usual.

Funny thing is, he has met girls while they’re on heat and he still hasn’t figured out which end goes where (thankfully).
