It won’t even be as good of a deal, just any deal. But the important part is that it will be Trump’s deal. That’s all he cares about. That his name is on it.
But more importantly, it doesn’t have Obama’s name on it.
That part is more important to other Republicans. To Trump it’s all about the Trump.
Just like both times he’s renegotiated north American free trade agreements, I’m sure this too will last.
