Do you think it’s overrated or perfectly rated?

I’ve heard it said once that it’s prose is awful. Is it poorly written? Atleast, does it have a good story?

      I finished the first book and am near the end of Golden Son. The writing does feel pretty YA focused in the tropes it uses and the structure, but overall I do enjoy the story.
