Never join a suicide club that has any members; clearly they can’t live up to expectations.
Apparently the lemonade isn’t tasty enough if they’re holding these meetings nightly.

Well, yeah. It’s 2026. Have you seen 2026? Justifiable response.

The worst part is the weekly membership drive to keep their constantly-dwindling rolls up.
They’re less hard core than the Suicide Squad. They mostly handle dangerous local beautification projects and “read to a psychopath events.”

Is that penguin?
Just a one-off villian-of-the-week for a superhero called The Shield. Seems like he might’ve-sort’ve been in the DC universe. The Penguin was created in December 1941, and this comic was published in February 1942, so quite possibly inspired by the Penguin.
