Kyrylo Budanov, the chief of Ukraine’s military intelligence (HUR), hopes that Canada could hand over to Ukraine tens of thousands of rockets that are awaiting demolition at one of the country’s military bases.

More than 83,000 CRV7 ground attack rockets are warehoused at Canadian Forces Ammunition Depot Dundurn, south of Saskatoon. Canada no longer has any use for them, and has selected a private contractor to demolish the rockets.

Speaking with the Global News outlet, Budanov said donating the rockets will help Ukraine fend off Russian forces and save Canadian taxpayers the cost of destroying them.

At what point do we view Ukraine as a sunk-cost?

At what point do we admit we’ve been taken for a ride by propaganda to fund the MIC?

        Even if they lose?

Are you just gonna say we should’ve sent them more support? Lol.

Have you considered Ukraine cannot win without foreign armies assisting them in combat?

The West already won on this big time, even if Ukraine loses. Russia has lost most of its Soviet era stockpile, thousands of tanks, while the West had only committed its surplus.

          That’s not counting personnel losses.

No to mention it exposed them to the world as a paper tiger it is and weakened their international position immensely. Who is afraid now of an army not even able to hold the Black see? It will soon start collapsing internally.

That’s a really cold, although not entirely untrue view of the war.

It paints Ukrainian’s as just a sacrifice to weaken Russia, which has limited value depending on your perspective.

Buddy, you talk about “being taken by propaganda” then you parrot 100% of the russian propaganda yourself. Ukraine wants to defend themselves and they will do it to their last man. They were attacked by a foreign power that threatens Europe. With proper support, Ukraine will win. It’s a matter of consistency, not “pledging then not sending” like a lot of countries have been doing.

The thing is, you people view anything that isn’t unwavering support for Ukraine as “Russian propaganda.”

What I’ve just said it actually the stance a lot of Western military analysts take when they talk about the return on investment for aiding Ukraine. They don’t mention that Ukraine can win. They mention we can weaken Russia.

You are just proving my point that you are too blinded by propaganda to realize it.

No, what you have said has been 100% russian propaganda. You aren’t provided a “reasonable take”, you aren’t looking at both sides, you are just parrotting russian propaganda.

Infinitely limited lmao. All Russia needed to do to prevent this was not invade Ukraine.

They already won. They defended their independence and still form a buffer zone between Russia and NATO. You have to be delusional to believe that Russia is still able to take Kiev. Worst case (for Ukraine) Russia will take over the territories they held before the invasion started. It’s still a disaster for Russia and a huge win for Ukraine.
