My point was maybe Democrats could have differentiated themselves a bit better by NOT BACKING A GENOCIDE like the Republicans were very willing to do.

People stayed home because the choice between some genocide and genocide isn’t a compelling one. But democratic leadership is bought and paid for by AIPAC

      Who wanted a ceasefire? Harris.

Who wants to nuke Gaza. Republicans.

You: They’re both the same, I’m gonna stand in the corner and not stop the nuking of Gaza.

Maybe Americans had a responsibility to prevent fascists who were very open about their fascism from taking total control of our government and accelerating the genocide in Gaza.

Nah, let’s place all the blame on Democrats instead of Americans. It’s easier.

Sure, Israel was also a long time ally who suffered a brutal terrorist attack in October. Maybe geopolitics is more complex that “Biden is commiting a genocide!!1!”.

Before you get too out to touch, I’ll say that any aid to Israel should have been conditional, and we should have stationed Americans relief workers in refugee camps and safe zones to stop Israel from indiscriminately bombing them.
