Elon Musk said on an earnings call Tuesday that he plans to devote more of his attention to running his electric vehicle company Tesla, which reported a stark drop in sales and revenues for the first quarter of the year, amid pervasive concerns about the impacts of tariffs and Musk’s own role in reshaping the government.

I heard the call, he said he will devote more time for tesla but still do the government stuff.

Almost 90 minutes of stuttering and mumbling lies. It was painful.

He needs to step away from everything until people forget about him. Him being involved in any company will not help that company.

My thoughts exactly… Tesla isn’t falling appart because Musk has been too busy to help it. It’s because Musk is associated with tesla and he’s basically pissing off anyone that might buy an electric car.

There honestly isn’t a solution for the company going under beyond…

      1. Sell Tesla to someone with a good reputation.

      2. Give up any means of trying to be a free market system, and pivot tesla entirely to being government funded.

Welp no more government insurance as you are no longer full time, so you’ll have to go to the market place and buy it, then get the mandatory physical and blood draw. If the results show any scheduled drugs then your coverage may be denied, so better get clean. You’ll have to pay for rehab out of your own pocket given your lack of insurance, Felon.

Too late Elmo. Then again, maybe he can run Tesla into the ground too…

The man is such a genius, he thought it wise to have Donald Trump advertise his goods (Tesla). What better way to alienate the half of the country that historically were more likely buy your cars.

It’s not even about too late. He’s the REASON they’re tanking. From his PR disasters to him pushing ideas like the Cybertruck. More attention to Tesla just means more problems. But less problems in government, so I support him leaving.

Leader of humanity, champion of the future, the herald of space, the greatest warrior in the resistance, the only billionaire who cares about us –

Oh wait no, he lost a fraction of his enormous wealth, I guess he’s giving in to the forces of wokevil.

Honestly, he should try to blend back into the woodwork. Him being the face of Tesla is not going to help anything, no matter how much or little time he’s actually doing any “work” related to Tesla.

BTW, it’s nice that we can all point to fElon as a counterpoint when some tool is spouting off about how CxOs work harder than anyone else, comparing them to top athletes and other such obvious bullshit. The guy supposedly runs several companies, meaning all of them must, by definition, be part-time jobs.

Meanwhile, a company tends to get spicy if you try to do moonlighting. Apparently, splitting your time between multiple companies is only something for the working poor - working multiple jobs because one job does not pay a living wage - or the obscenely parasitic wealthy like fElon. It’s often quite typical for these people to sit on each others’ boards, too. Apparently, there are no concerns about “loyalties” for a certain class of citizen.
