Apparently in the US the voices are more likely to tell you to do violent things. https://www.researchgate.net/publication/263513488_Differences_in_voice-hearing_experiences_of_people_with_psychosis_in_the_USA_India_and_Ghana_Interview-based_study

I wonder though about the step from hearing to acting. Like real people tell me to do stuff and I don’t do it. It shouldn’t be that hard to hear voices and be like “oh you silly, I’m not gonna do that”.

I once read that the majority of people, I presume in the US, that hear voices, hear an upper crust english accented voice.

I wonder though about the step from hearing to acting.

I once auditory hallucinated a single syllable as I was waking up, like someone speaking loudly, almost shouting from right in my face. That was disconcerting enough. There’s a visceral element to it that’s not just a conversation with an uninvited guest.

Despite the hallucinations themselves by no means implying insanity, it’s easy to imagine them wearing you down psychologically if they’re a regular occurrence. Anecdotes about them range all the way from harmless to anxiety inducing sensory overload.

It was God. I don’t believe in God but I truly believe God sent that man to be his messenger on earth.

Those that do claim to believe in the Lord, surely cannot refuse this as to do so would be denying faith. How is this any different to Moses, Noah and others who have heard the word of God and acted. Who are we to stop this man in his holy quest least we be smited by the Almighty ourselves!

Using a stolen vehicle is the only way to get away with many crimes. To be sure this guy probably didn’t cover his other tracks though, harder and harder to do.

Not that I trust the police’s version of events here I don’t. There are a lot of crazies out there though idk.

umm… I think the commenter who used the metaphor was trying to say that they want to wait and see what Miller will do before theY (or we) react.

I disagree-- I don’t think anyone needs to wait to see what this not-neo Nazi will do, as it’s been crystal-clear what his intentions are since he was born. This guy came out of the uterus Siging Heil. he’s the kind of guy who would call Hitler a ‘pussy’ for not going ‘far enough’
