I got it from The Daily Show’s Instagram account. They put together screenshots and clips for a lot of their jokes. So if you’re ever looking for something specific, it’s worth checking there.
It wasn’t, nor is it now, being hidden. Some reporters are more interested in her black heritage and others in her Indian heritage, and the overall context of the piece also factors into that. But by and large, “left” leaning outlets haven’t paid a whole ton of attention to her race as it doesn’t fucking matter. However, Republicans sure as shit have been very vocal about hee “blackness” and are now all “omg, but she’s Indian heritage, too, and we haven’t even dug into that. you do know what “first” means, right? she wasn’t the first black senator so they didn’t mention that in 2016. and in 2020 first black woman as a VP candidate is more important than first Indian woman just because of demographics, so they highlighted that. but when she was VP both firsts were mentioned in news.
Yeah, just keep questioning people’s racial heritage. That’s a totally normal thing to do that will help the Trump Cult win more supporters. Great job!
